Trump is weer eens bezig met machtspolitiek. Dwang, sancties, onderdrukking voor anderen, en zelf de 1e natie willen blijven. Toch?

Hoe kun je anders de weerstanden verklaren tegen Huawei voor de 5G technologie uitrol in de VS, de weerstanden tegen het chinese Tik Tok social medium dat een rasechte concurrent blijkt voor Youtube, voor Facebook en Twitter. En niet te vergeten het grote chinese software-imperium Nascent dat een eigen chat-versie had uitgebracht “We chat” genaamd. Een uiterst populaire versie, als tegenhanger van de Amerikaanse chat app…..

En als we ook Alibaba noemen, het grote chinese online imperium en tegenhanger van de Amerikaanse Amazon, dan zien we concurrentie opduiken die zijn weerga niet kent. Terecht dat China opspeelt tegen al die weerstanden en vingertjes wijzen zonder enig bewijs…. Trump en Amerika wil er gewoon beter op worden….

Maar China is politiek ook gevoelig. Er zijn genoeg misstanden in het grote Walhalla China. Maar dat is bij het Amerikaanse lot natuurlijk ook.

China zal op een gegeven ogenblik toch wel halsstarrig worden. Terecht. Want het kan niet zo zijn dat de VS in de wereld als militair politie-agent speelt. Ofwel je doet het goed en ruim. Of je laat het. Ofwel je bent bezig met handelen in naam van de hele mensheid, of je bent heel egocentrisch en smal bezig.
